The IGER AdvantageThe latest development is SO-GREEN - the innovative new grass that stays green all year round. Both seed and turf are available for 2003. IGER trials comparing So-Green with normal turf have clearly demonstrated that turf growers and landscapers can expect better keeping quality, reduced yellowing and improved summer and winter greenness from turf based on 'stay green' grass. AberNile - the ryegrass component in SO-GREEN is also particularly resistant to crown rust. |
UK Born and Bred
For groundsmen with the scope to enhance the visual appeal of the sporting environment, British Seed Houses markets a range of wild flora mixtures using seed of UK origin only. The wild flora mixtures have been developed using the National Vegetation Classification. Use of these popular mixtures in country parks, highway verges, reclamation sites, woodland walks and picnic areas has greatly enhanced a wide range of environments. Each high quality mixture is marketed with expert advice on establishment, maintenance and long-term management.
